Industries / Not-for-Profit Vol. 11 / GTM by Industry

Keep donor relationships moving after the first gift.

Your fundraising team thanks each donor, asks again at the right time and follows up supporters who have gone quiet.

We give each donor a lifecycle stage, an owner and a next action, from first gift to regular giving. Donations sync from your donation platform, and each one links to the campaign that produced it.

01The Problem

Donations arrive. Donor relationships don’t.

Most not-for-profits have a donation platform and a mailing list. Between the two sits a gap filled with spreadsheets, manual exports, and guesswork. There’s no single view of a donor, their giving history, their engagement, their likelihood to give again. Fundraising teams operate on instinct rather than data.

The donation platform handles transactions. It doesn’t handle relationships. So first-time donors aren’t nurtured into recurring givers. Major gift prospects aren’t identified. Lapsed donors aren’t re-engaged. And when the board asks what each fundraising campaign produced, the answer takes two weeks and a spreadsheet to assemble.

If you can’t tell the board which campaign produced the most lifetime donor value, you’re fundraising blind.

02What We Build

A commercial engine for donor growth.

We build the GTM system that connects your donation platform to a CRM designed for relationship management. HubSpot becomes the engine that tracks donor journeys, automates stewardship, and reports on fundraising performance, while your donation platform continues to handle transactions. Connected, not duplicated.

01

Donor Lifecycle Management

A structured donor journey from first gift through stewardship, recurring conversion, and major gift cultivation. Every donor has a lifecycle stage, a next action, and an owner. No supporters falling through the cracks.

02

Donation Platform Integration

Bi-directional sync between HubSpot and your donation or fundraising platform. Transaction data flows into HubSpot for relationship management. Donor segments flow back for targeted campaigns. One complete picture across both systems.

03

Fundraising Attribution & Reporting

Closed-loop reporting that connects every donation to the campaign, channel, or event that produced it. Track donor acquisition cost, lifetime value, and retention rate. Give your board numbers they can act on, not stories they have to trust.

03The Outcome

What changes when the engine runs.

Every donor tracked from first gift to ongoing supporter.

Fundraising campaigns measured by lifetime value, not headline totals.

Stewardship automated so no donor goes unacknowledged.

Your mission stays front and centre. Your systems handle the rest.

04How It Connects

Donor acquisition is only the beginning.

The donor acquisition pipeline connects to the Customer Retention Engine, the same logic we use to detect churn risk and drive renewals, adapted for donor lapse and re-engagement. Automated triggers identify donors who haven’t given in 90 days, 180 days, or a year, and initiate stewardship sequences before they’re gone.

It’s also powered by the Lead-to-Pipeline Engine for new supporter acquisition. Campaign landing pages, form captures, event registrations, and nurture sequences all feed into a measurable pipeline, so you know exactly what it costs to acquire a new donor and which channels produce the highest lifetime value.
