Customer, invoice and revenue records move between HubSpot and Dynamics 365 Finance, so finance keeps the ledger and marketing can see what each campaign returned.
A custom-built integration designed around your business logic, not a plug-and-play connector.
Dynamics 365 Finance is your general ledger. It posts invoices, receipts and revenue. HubSpot is where your marketing and sales teams find and qualify customers. Without a connection, finance re-keys new customers and marketing cannot report on revenue.
Dynamics 365 Finance is a different product from Dynamics 365 Sales. It has its own data model and its own APIs, so a CRM connector built for Sales does not cover it.
If your CRM cannot see revenue, it cannot tell you which campaigns paid for themselves.
Before we build, we agree which system owns each record. Dynamics 365 Finance stays the ledger. HubSpot owns prospects, campaigns and the sales process.
The integration runs on a schedule and uses change tracking, so only new and updated records move. It runs on Kongo’s AWS infrastructure in Australia.
When a prospect reaches the agreed handover point in HubSpot, a customer record is created in Dynamics 365 Finance. Finance no longer keys new customers by hand.
Customer and revenue records from Dynamics 365 Finance update HubSpot contacts and deals. Marketing can report campaign return from first touch to posted revenue.
Invoice requests raised in HubSpot create invoice headers in Dynamics 365 Finance. Posting events come back to HubSpot, so your team can see when an invoice is posted.
For not-for-profits, donations recorded in HubSpot become journal lines in Dynamics 365 Finance. Posting confirmations return to the donation record.
If Dynamics 365 Finance runs your ledger and HubSpot runs your marketing and sales, this integration connects them. It suits financial services firms that want closed-loop campaign reporting. It also suits not-for-profits and research institutes that take donations.
We scope which records move, and in which direction, around your finance processes.
